41- Men's Pelvic Health using MDT with Di Wu

Oct 30, 2022

💭There is supporting evidence using MDT in the pelvic population. People are aware that spine issues can refer to pain in the pelvic area but there is not a good way so far to rule out the spine efficiently.” - Di Wu

👉🏻 Our guest is Di Wu, PT, cert. MDT, MSc(A), MMed, BMedSc, and Director of the V-Active clinic where he provides services for a wide diversity of health conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, male pelvic-related issues, vestibular problems, chronic disease management, and sports injuries. He also has a background as a medical doctor in orthopedic surgery in China, specializing in trauma and spine injuries. As a physiotherapist, Di has developed a strong interest and focus in helping men suffering from pelvic pain and dysfunction. Di innovatively used Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy to identify the different sources of pelvic pain and dysfunction. He has described this approach in a case study which was published in the journal Physiotherapy Theory and Practice.
