👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Darshil Patel, PT, DPT, Cert MDT. Darshil received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. He has an extensive background in neurological and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Patel has practiced at the number 1 rehabilitation hospital in the US for the last 9 years. He has experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Day Rehab Settings. Darshil specializes in Spasticity, Spasms, Tone, Tremors, Ataxic, and Chronic pain. He is an expert in treating patients with neurological conditions including Stroke, Spinal Cord, Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, and Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Patel uses the Pain Mechanism Classification System in order to appropriately classify the patient to provide treatment based on the principles of evidence-based research. He is also MDT certified.
