👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Eva Sierra-Silvestre PT, PhD. Eva is postdoctoral researcher in the Neuromusculoskeletal Health and Science Lab supervised by A/Prof Annina Schmid. She holds a dual Ph.D. from Griffith University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2022). Previously, she worked as a clinical physiotherapist and lecturer. Her research interests focus on understanding the mechanisms behind neuropathies and pain to improve clinical outcomes. Eva’s current project aims to contribute to the understanding the mechanisms of action of neurodynamic exercises. The study focuses on patients with carpal tunnel syndrome as a model of a focal peripheral injury. The results will provide valuable insights into targeting neurodynamic exercises for specific patient populations.
