Our guest Prof. Jan Hartvigsen, PhD Epidemiology, Chiropractor, is an internationally leading researcher and research leader in musculoskeletal health. Jan has published over 300 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, his research has been cited more then 25,000 times. He has been a member of many national and international expert committees. He was member of the WHO Guideline Development Group for Primary Chronic Low Back Pain published in 2023. He was deputy-chair of the landmark Lancet Low Back Pain Series that was published in The Lancet in 2018. He has supervised 22 PhD students as main- or co-supervisor to completion. In 2020, Jan Hartvigsen was appointed Knight of the Order of Dannebrog by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II for meritorious service to Denmark through science.
